Message	weighs much less, and costs more money (wait till you see what dealer surcharges end up on the ZR1, and it will put it even further out of range). The Z06 is probably a closer comparison in power and price which, IMO, makes for a better discussion. Then again, it was no secret that Nissan was aiming more at the 911 than the Corvette so if it were a comparison to a 911 I would take it more seriously. If/when the lightweight GT-R comes out, I'd say a comparison with the ZR1 would be more telling. BTW, the most impressive part of that video is that the GT-R, with a smaller motor (3.7 l vs. 6.2l) and more weight, matched the 0-60 acceleration and was only 0.3 behind on the 1/4 mile run. I would have expected the Corvette to have done much better, but given they were fighting traction problems (no surprise), I can see why they posted such dismal results for the Corvette.
