The Z06 is probably a closer comparison in power and price which, IMO, makes for a better discussion. Then again, it was no secret that Nissan was aiming more at the 911 than the Corvette so if it were a comparison to a 911 I would take it more seriously. If/when the lightweight GT-R comes out, I'd say a comparison with the ZR1 would be more telling. BTW, the most impressive part of that video is that the GT-R, with a smaller motor (3.7 l vs. 6.2l) and more weight, matched the 0-60 acceleration and was only 0.3 behind on the 1/4 mile run. I would have expected the Corvette to have done much better, but given they were fighting traction problems (no surprise), I can see why they posted such dismal results for the Corvette. Dave
